Today, the Cloth Hall is primarily a place where there are numerous stores selling souvenirs, handicrafts and artistic regional products. They offer tourists the opportunity to purchase traditional Polish souvenirs, as well as works of art and handicrafts by local artists. Due to its location and character, the rooms of the first floor of the Cloth Hall building became the first headquarters of the National Museum in Cracow. Initially, the museum shared the space with the Society of Friends of Fine Arts.
This iconic site is an important part of the landscape of Krakow's Main Square and is one of the most visited tourist sites.
