Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory
The exhibition is housed in the building of the former Oskar Schindler’s Factory of Enameled Vessels and presents, through preserved documents, memorabilia, photographs and testimonials – the life in Cracow during World War II, and the fate of its residents during the consecutive phases of the Nazi occupation of the city. The centerpiece of the exhibition is, of course, the figure of Oskar Schindler, the factory owner, whose determination saved around 1,000 Jews from extermination. The modern exhibition has been designed with panache and in such a manner that each visitor can "feel the story" with all their senses.
